What’s interesting is in todays employer leveraged economy employee benefits have/continue to be reduced. One of those benefits is ‘sick days’. So consequently employees show up for work and potentially infect other employees and customers. In the quest for more profit a cost is taken on by business and the public. There’s no ‘free lunch’!

I agree with you Karl. Unfortunately, businesses are making the cut wherever they can and I think that is playing a huge role in the higher flu cases. I personally have yet to have it, but I give credit to my supplements that I am taking. All of my co-workers and family members seem to have some form of the flu or another.
It’s interesting how most patients that I see in my practice with flu have just recently had a flu shot.
