The Bivouac of the Dead
The muffled drum’s sad roll has beat
The soldier’s last tattoo’
No more on life’s parade shall meet
That brave and fallen few;On Fame’s eternal camping ground
Their silent tents are spread;
But Glory guards with solemn round
The bivouac of the dead.
Let us also remember all those DCs who went to jail for “practicing medicine without a license”, because it was their good fight that sustained the wonderful profession that we have today.
We owe a lot to those that have gone before us, but it is nice to know that those that serve our country finally have access to chiropractic care!
