How Do You Access The News?
When your not here, catching up on chiropractic news, how else do you access the news?
Our News Source Page contains links to the major newspapers, news networks, and a few news blogs.
If you have your own favorites, please share them with us, so we can add them to the page!
I generally add feeds to my rss reader from Google Health, WebMD, and other similar websites to get my general health information.
iGoogle news aggregator does the job for me. I’ve personalized it to include sections on national and local news, chiropractic news, world health news, sports, science, etc. It also lets you quickly search the blogs for chiropractic articles.
Life Extension at http://www.lifeextension.com has a newsletter that is outstanding for health news, particularly nutritional.
Also NaturalNews.com has a lot of resources available including a newsletter. They are quite radical and their articles are written by “citizen journalists” — so not entirely objective, but still often good info.
I use a Firefox extension called “Brief”. I subscribe to a number of blogs and web-sites via firefox “live bookmarks” and have them sent to brief. I just hit the refresh button in Brief, then it pulls all the new content from all of my sites into one place. It’s a lot like Goggle’s news aggregator, but I like it better.
Igoogle for chiropractic works great for me
Since Google announced that iGoogle would not longer be available sometime later this year I migrated over to Protopage (http://www.protopage.com). It’s a very nice RSS aggregator, very simple to add feeds and organize them into categories.
